Online Registration FAQ's
Cedar Springs offers both members and website visitors an exciting way to register for certain events. Online Registrations allow persons to register for events and activities and to also pay a registration fee (if required), all from the comfort of your computer.
To take advantage of online registrations through the CSPC website, follow these steps:
1. Click the link for your particular event. On the CSPC website, a link will be provided for each event that offers online registration. Look in the “Latest News” section or the individual ministry section for the “Click Here for Online Registration” link.
2. Login or Create an Account. If this is your first time registering online for an event at CSPC, click the “Create an Account” button that appears on the right side of the screen. You will then fill out an online form. Certain parts of this form will be required, and those field will be marked with an asterisk (*). Your password should be 6 to 15 characters long, and should be alphanumeric. In addition, some information that is required is for verification purposes in case you forget your password and need to obtain it. Once you fill in this form and click “Create your account”, it will take you directly to the Registration area.
3. Select your name for registering or add your family members to your household for registering. From the Registration screen, you can click the green “Select” button next to your name or add your family members’ names so you may register them for an event. Once you click the green “Select” button, it will then take you through the registration process.
4. Register for the event and checkout. Once you complete entering the registration information in the “Questions” section, you will then go to the “Checkout” area. From here, if a payment is required, you will be able to pay for the event with a credit card. The payments are processed through a secure website, and the security can be verified.
Once the registration is completed, click the “Logout” button at the top right of the screen. You will receive a confirmation email with important information regarding the event.

Frequently Asked Questions About CSPC Online Registration
- This is the first time I’ve tried to register through the CSPC website. What should I do first?
- The first step is to create an account. When you click on a link for an event registration or online giving, the link will take you to a Registration screen. To create your account, click the “Create an Account” button that appears on the right side of the screen. Any item with an asterisk (*) is a required field. You will also create a password. Your password should be between 6 to 15 characters long, and should include both letters and numbers. Next, choose one of the Challenge Questions from the drop down list and type the answer in the Response box and the Re-response box. Lastly, click the “Create Your Account” button. This will create your account and redirect you to the Registration area.
- My family and I attend CSPC. I’ve just created my account but I only see my name under my household. Why are my other family members missing?
- When you create an account, it creates a new record for you in our system. Once your new record is combined with your existing one, you will then see all of your family members in your household listed in your online account. However, if you need to register a family member for an event before your records are combined, click the “Add Person” button that appears in the “Select an Individual” section. This will allow you to add a person to your household. Note: If the person is not in your household, it is best for he/she to set up their own account.
- I’m creating an account, but the system doesn’t like my password. What might be the problem?
- If the system will not accept your password, it may be that your password does not meet certain requirements. Make sure your password is 6 to 15 characters long and that it contains both letters and numbers. For example, the password “danny” would not be sufficient because it is only 5 characters and contains no numbers. Another example of an insufficient password would be “Volunteers”. An example of a sufficient password would be “cspc1796” or “Romans4:7”. Also, remember that the passwords are case sensitive, and that if you put a capital letter in your password, you will need to remember to enter the capital when you enter your password.
- I’m creating an account, but the system does not like the answer I gave to my Challenge Question. What might be the problem?
- The answer to the challenge question must be entered twice, and must be entered exactly the same way both times. You may have not entered it exactly the same both times.
- I’m creating an account. I’ve entered my password and answer to the Challenge Question. I had an issue with my password. I corrected the issue, but it is now asking me for the answer to my Challenge Question. Why is it asking for this now?
- As a security feature, the system will remove the password and Challenge Question answers if there is an issue with either of those items. Therefore, if you have an issue with your password, you will need to re-enter your Challenge Question answers (and vice versa).
- I can’t remember my username and/or password. What do I do?
- From the login screen, click the “Account Help” button. This will take you to another screen. Enter your date of birth in the top box labeled “Date of Birth”. If you have forgotten your username, enter the email address you used when you created your account. An email with your username will be sent to that email address. If you have forgotten your password, enter your User ID for your account. You will then be prompted to enter the answer to the Challenge Question you chose when you set up your account. Click “Send NEW Password” and a new password will be sent to you via email. Note: Do not copy and paste your new password. You will need to enter it manually.
- I received a new password, but need to change the password to a more user friendly password. How do I do this?
- From the login screen, click the “Reset Password” button. From this screen, you will enter your User ID and current password. Then, enter your new password in each of the following two boxes and click “Next”. If your password is accepted, you will be directed to the “Select an Individual” screen for the registration form or to the online giving screen, dependent upon what you are trying to access.
- Why does the system have certain requirements for creating an account (challenge question, password restrictions, etc.)?
- Security of your information is very important to us. Access to this system allows you to not only register for certain events, but to also contribute to the church online and view online contributions to CSPC. These requirements create levels of security which protects this information from unscrupulous characters who would try to obtain this information.
