Small Groups

Small groups offer us the opportunity to become intimately involved in the lives of others, growing together in submission to the Word of God, and growing up into Christ, who is the head (Eph. 3:16).

There are more than 150 small groups at Cedar Springs Church. Many of those groups have formed over the years as friends have acted on common commitments to Bible study, personal accountability and prayer, and then established a regular time to meet as a group. Other groups were formed out of the vision within the Women's Ministries and Men's Ministries to address specific needs of men and women. Similar groups have formed within the Youth Ministries, and still others have flowed naturally from the life and fellowship of Congregational Units (Sunday school classes).

While it is recognized that most people join small groups in response to the invitation of a friend or acquaintance, many have joined after hearing of "open" studies. Toward that end, we encourage anyone who is desiring to be part of a small group to use the attached document to find a contact name and become involved, or to call the church and ask for Cheryl Guilford (291-5279) or Rod Huckaby (291-5227).
