Hebrews

Welcome to a 35-week journey in the book of Hebrews that will enrich your reverence for Christ and your service to him as servant and witness, as your vision of the ministry of Christ is renewed and strengthened. The book of Hebrews weaves wonderfully the world and stories of Old Testament faith with the glory of God now revealed in Christ and the lifelong marathon to which each believer is called to run. Each document covers five weeks of study: two chapters of Hebrews and a biblical narrative. Scripture-memory and life-application are part of each lesson. At this time, the remaining documents are enduring their final editing and will be posted without delay.

James

Learning to live the Christian life in a way that embraces the bumps and bruises toward a perfection of faith is the goal of this 12-week study. As the brother of Christ, James bore witness to the righteous perfection of Jesus as it was applied to daily life; as a convert to Christianity he brought to the life of faith a conviction that our lives must be transformed in obedience and discipline to mirror the perfection of God's design for his covenant People. Come and discover deeper paths in your walk with Christ. This is an older format involving three separate documents: a Lessons document for the teaching-servant, a Reflection&Action document for life-application and home study during the week (handouts), and a verse-memorization sheet that prints to perforated business-card paper (available at most office supply stores).

Walking in the Spirit, Working with the Spirit

Deepen your understanding of the Spirit's work in the life of the believer, and increase your capacity to co-labor with the Spirit toward the extension of God's kingdom. This is an older format involving four separate documents: a Lessons document for the teaching-servant, materials for life-application and home study during the week, a verse-memorization sheet that prints to perforated business-card paper (available at most office supply stores), and small group discussion questions.

Mark's Gospel: the Power of Love

This 13-week series is aimed at renewing our first love as we are drawn toward Christ through the familiar narratives of Mark's gospel account. If your class, house church, or small group is accustomed to lectures, this is a fantastic course for transitioning them toward group learning, discussion, and application at home. This is an older format involving four separate documents: a Lessons document for the teaching-servant, materials for life-application and home study during the week, a handout, and Week Eleven materials.
