This organization is the sports ministry of Cru. Jason and Rachel Stankus minister to and through the athletic department at the University of Tennessee and are trusting God to build a spiritual movement that impacts the campus, community and world for Christ. CAMPUS RENEWAL MINISTRIES (CHOP), UT KNOXVILLE

Campus Renewal Ministries is a National Christian Ministry devoted to seeing transformation on college campuses for God’s glory. On the campus of UT Knoxville, this ministry can be found at the Campus House of Prayer (CHOP). Their building is one block south of Cumberland Avenue (behind Panera) on Lake Avenue – right on the UT Knoxville campus. Students can literally walk over and seek the Lord anytime. Cru

We support Cru through the work of John and Geralyn Strange on multiple campuses of central and eastern Kentucky including the Universities of Kentucky and Louisville and Austin McLaughlin in a Hispanic ministry at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. More.

FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHELETES OF GREATER KNOXVILLE / EAST TENNESSEE - FCA

YOKE

YOKE mentors middle school children by building friendships with Christian adults through clubs, camps, and Kid Time. Currently YOKE reaches out to over 19,000 students at 26 middle schools located in Anderson, Blount, Grainger, Jefferson, and Knox counties. More.

YOUNG LIFE

Young Life seeks to pursue and befriend lost or disinterested teenagers to introduce them to Jesus, share the gospel, and help them grow in their faith. We support YL work in Anderson, Knox and Loudon County, Tennessee and Birmingham, Alabama. More.

The World At Our Door

THE NAVIGATORS INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE

The Navigators seek to serve and help as students adjust to a new culture and home. Friendship programs, ESL and other practical acts of kindness open the doors for friendship, interaction and meaningful conversation. Small group Bible Studies, a fellowship that fosters questions and learning, retreats and personal discipleship characterize their ministry approach. Contact: Paul Slay. More.

BRIDGES INTERNATIONAL

The focus of Bridges International is to serve the needs of international students adjusting to living and studying at the University of Tennessee. Their mission is to see international students come to know Christ, be rooted in Him and influence the world for Him. Contact: Emily Bean.  More

ESL AT CEDAR SPRINGS  

Volunteers provide weekly English classes at CSPC for those who need to improve their language skills. Classes meet on Thursdays in the morning and in the evening. International students, visiting scholars, and foreign nationals working in Knoxville are invited to attend the classes. There is an optional Bible study held after the morning classes. The ESL students and teachers hold holiday parties, go on outings and picnics, and do other fun things together. BECOMING LIKE CHRIST (BLC)

CEF is committed to the evangelism of boys and girls through Good News Clubs, the Tennessee Valley Fair and any other means to reach the children of the Knoxville community. More.

CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP CONCEPT (CLC)

The focus for CLC Knoxville is to find and deploy the natural male disciple-makers in our city, asking them to pour into other men via a two-year disciple-making process. More.

CHURCH PLANT - CHRIST THE KING - JP/ROXBURY, BOSTON, MA

After completing a two-year church-planting internship with Christ the King Dorchester, Logan and Melissa Keck have planted a church in Egleston Square, a part of Boston that claims two neighborhoods, Jamaica Plain and Roxbury. They are building relationships and meeting with a core group for the purpose of discipling, training, and equipping leaders. Jamaica Plain is split demographically between a predominantly poor Hispanic group and a mostly white middle-to-upper middle class group that rarely enter into each other’s spheres. Roxbury is a predominantly African-American neighborhood that is also the home of a $20 million dollar mosque. CHURCH PLANT - CITY CHURCH OF SAN FRANCISCO

City Church began in February 1997 and has grown to a congregation of around 1,600 attendees. They partner with ministries throughout the city and the region ranging from homeless shelters and AIDS hospices to women’s crisis centers. This is a ministry to ministers. ER’s vision is for ministers to live in deeper intimacy with Christ, family and community, and to thus have greater affect for God’s Kingdom. Buddy Odom directs this ministry.

GLOBAL GOLF

Formerly WPGF, Global Golf serves women at all levels of competitive golf - professional tour players, college athletes, coaches, and club pros - and introduces them to Jesus Christ through long term relationships build around golf. Contact Cris Stevens.  More.

JONI AND FRIENDS KNOXVILLE

Joni and Friends Knoxville ministers to families and individuals affected by disabilities in Knoxville, TN, as well as in Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi and in Guatemala. The vision of Joni and Friends is to accelerate Christian ministry in the disability community by communicating the gospel and equipping Christ-honoring churches worldwide to evangelize and disciple people affected by disability. Peter McKechnie is the Area Director. WEARS VALLEY RANCH

Founded by Jim and Susan Wood in 1991, Wears Valley Ranch offers a Christian home, education, and counseling to children from families in crisis. Their vision is to see each child inspired to follow Christ, healed from the past, and equipped to reach their full potential. For up to 32 children, the Ranch provides year-round, Christ-centered homes complete with loving house parent couples and college-age mentors who give spiritual, physical and emotional support. KnoxCAM

Knoxville Christian Arts Ministries (KnoxCAM) is a performing arts outreach ministry directed by Dr. Jill Lagerberg. Its mission is to proclaim the good news of Jesus outside the walls of the church building, and it ministers primarily in prisons and jails across Tennessee. KnoxCAM includes over 100 singers, actors, dancers, instrumentalists, and handbell ringers from 30 Knox-area churches.
