Community Life

Community is central to the nature of God (Trinity) and so is central to the nature of the church. The gospel is most clearly fleshed out in community. So it is not an organization, but more an intentional way of living with others.

As we recognize that the gospel both humbles us (as we realize we are so sinful Christ had to die for us) and frees us (as we realize that he loves us so much Christ was glad to die for us), we grow in our ability to love, forgive, speak and hear loving truth to/from one another.

A bi-product of authentic community is that others can actually see what the gospel does as it changes us, revealing a new identity found in Jesus Christ. It is an expression of the beauty, hope and truth of Christ's radical love to those who have yet to know the gospel of grace.
