Cedar Springs Foundation

As a church on mission to bring the Gospel of Christ to the world abroad and the world which surrounds our homes and communities, Cedar Springs depends on the generosity of members, friends and supporters. With the approval of church leaders, the Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church Foundation was formed to provide a new way for donors to give to the church through various planned or deferred gifts.
The Foundation will serve in two ways. First, it will facilitate the long-term stewardship plans of Cedar Springs members and supporters. The Foundation gives donors an avenue to make gifts in coordination with their long-term financial plans, and can receive estate bequests, endowments, gifts through living trusts, memorials, and donations with specific use designations. Secondly, the Foundation will make it possible to fund ministries throughout the world where there are either limited or no other resources. Donors who give through the Foundation can be confident their desires will be met and their funds managed according to their personal instructions and wishes. In keeping with the Foundation’s charter, grants will flow only to CSPC ministries or mission activities not already funded by the Church’s operating or recurring missions budget. The Foundation is served by a board of directors - all of whom are members of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church and many who are members of the Church Session. Cedar Springs staff and Foundation board members are available to discuss and describe planned gift opportunities, but all interested donors are advised to contact their personal financial and legal advisors to draft the necessary documents required to activate the gift.
