Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church Clothing Sale Ministry

What is the purpose of the CSPC Clothing Sale?

Supporting CSPC Sponsored Ministries
CSPC Clothing Sale Ministry supports eight CSPC supported ministries with children’s clothing, baby equipment and children’s toys donations.  CSPC Nursery and Clothing Closet also receive donated items.  In the past, KICKO has received enough donations to support their organization for the entire year.

Supporting Our Community
The community recognizes the CSPC Clothing Sale as the best sale in the area at offering high-quality, low-cost items.  We ensure that we continue to offer high-quality items at low prices by encouraging consignors to price items low by offering them higher commissions than other sales.  We also do not have a consignor/volunteer pre-sale so that the community has first choice of the items.

Supporting CSPC Church Members
We promote good stewardship among our church members.  The ability to sell and purchase children’s clothing assists our members with the high cost of raising children.

The CSPC Clothing Sale Committee is dedicated to serving CSPC sponsored ministries, our community and our church members.  Every committee member understands our purpose and serves with purpose. 

As a committee we have seen…

• organizations continue to provide clothing to those who depend on them solely due to our sale
• shoppers in tears of joy because of the items they were able to purchase at our sale that otherwise they would not have been able to afford
• shoppers loved by committee members and volunteers in times of need
• shoppers become active members of our body because of the love of Jesus they felt coming to our sale
• More than 1,000 shoppers walk through the doors of our church each year
