Haiti Relief Fund

1. We are partnering with the ProVision Foundation to co-ordinate our response to this situation. ProVision has been working in Haiti for a number of years and has established clinics, orphanages and other institutions in Haiti. As a result the people at ProVision have an extensive network of people on the ground who are well positioned to assess the needs. A team left Knoxville on Wednesday, January 13 for Haiti to co-ordinate our response.

2. We have set up a Haiti Relief Fund** and people can donate to it in one of three ways:
   
   

   a. By sending a check to Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church and marking it for Haiti on the memo line.

   b. Contributing online. To do so, follow this link.
   

This relief effort will be a long-term one. Many organizations will be part of the first wave of response but, as humans, our memories are short. Cedar Springs, together with ProVision, believe that the impact on the country of Haiti will last for many years to come and, therefore, our engagement will have to be for the long haul.
