Global Missions at Cedar Springs

Cedar Springs International Class

Sundays, 9:15 a.m., Room B224

The International Class is a class especially for international students!

Join us on Sunday mornings for tea, coffee, refreshments, conversation, reading the Bible and discussing questions in small groups.

At 10:30, we sit together in the worship center to join the rest of the church in worshipping God.

We are a group of international students and a few Americans who gather together to share our lives. We are a diverse group of people, some who are searching for God and some who have followed Jesus for a long time. We enjoy getting together to enjoy some refreshments, catch up with each other, pray for each other, and read the Bible to find answers to our questions about the Bible, about life, and ultimately about God.

Some of the questions we discuss are:

What’s our purpose in life?
What’s in the future for us?
How should we live our lives?
What can we do to have a fulfilled life?
Who is God? Who is Jesus?
Is the Bible true? What does the Bible say?
How can I build my relationship with God?
How can I improve my relationships with others?
How can I implement the wisdom I have learned from the Bible
into my daily life?

Quotes from members of the International Class.....

“The friendships that I have found through this class go way beyond the activities within the church. I believe that I have made friends for life who have been a great support for me throughout my time here in Knoxville.”

"I love our class!  The world becomes very small every time we meet!  What a
joy it is to have friends from all over the world!”

“The first time I came to the class I felt irritated because people seemed so happy. I thought they were just faking it because they wanted me to become a Christian, but time has proven that they are sincere and genuine people and their happiness comes from their heart.” –  Chinese graduate student

“I love the friendships with people from all over the world.”
