Cedar Springs Women's Ministries

Home School Support Group

Who? We are a support group open to any home-schooling moms. About 50% of our members attend Cedar Springs. We have children from newborns through 12th grade.

What? We are an activity-oriented group as well as support for the moms. We have field trips and play days for the kids. From 4th grade up, the kids can participate in a large number of contests (Geography Bee, Science Olympiad, Stock Market Game, etc).

A night out in December and the regular monthly meetings are for the moms. We sign up for events, listen to a speaker on a home school-related topic and fellowship together. We do not have facilities for regular childcare at our meetings.

When? We meet the 3rd Monday of each month (Aug - May) from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Where? We meet in the Fireside Room in the Family Life Center.

Why? We are here to help and encourage each other with home schooling and anything else that comes into our lives.
