Baptism

Infant Baptism

Infant baptisms are scheduled for the 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. worship services on the first Sunday of every month except for March.

For a baptism to be scheduled, at least one of the child's parents must be a member of Cedar Springs or currently involved in a New Members' class. For more information about becoming a member, click here.

The first step in scheduling a baptism is to make an appointment for a meeting with Alan Edick, the Pastor for Children's Ministries (291-5204). At this time, a date will be scheduled for your child to be baptized.

Immersion Baptism

Cedar Springs has an immersion baptism service once per year at Fort Loudon Lake. The service generally occurs in late August. The 2009 service was August 16.
