Music Ministry on Mission

A summary of the opportunities God has given the music ministry beyond the walls of Cedar Springs...

The Sanctuary Choir, Hand Bells, and members of the Band have presented concerts at:

  1. Knox Area Rescue Ministries
  2. Tennessee State Prison for Women
  3. Southeastern State Correctional Facility for Men
  4. Ben Atchley Veterans’ Home
  5. Johnson Bible College Senior Citizens Retreats

The Men’s Ensemble has sung for:

  1. The Water Angels Inner City Ministry
  2. Emmanuel Nazarene Church, Friendsville
  3. NHC Farragut
  4. The Interfaith Health Clinic Fundraiser, Knoxville Convention Center
  5. Bible Study Fellowship, Second Presbyterian Church

Members of the choir have:

  1. Done short-term mission work in Mozambique
  2. Built houses for Habitat for Humanity
  3. Helped host the Tennessee State High School Choral Festival at Cedar Springs
  4. Sung for the Franklin Graham Festival

Our special missions and missionaries are:

    • Five children with Compassion International
    • Joe and Vivian
    • Darlene Johnson
    • Charles and Bonita Davidson
    • Sara Welch and the village of Mucatine in Mozambique
