Worship & Music at Cedar Springs

Prayer Ministry

National Day of Prayer 2008

The sanctuary will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. for anyone who desires to come in and pray.

There will be pastor led Guided Prayer at 7:30 a.m, noon, and 6:30 p.m.

Prayer Center

The Prayer Center is located on the Kingston Pike side of the Mission Hall and contains two rooms. The room on the west side is a classroom for teaching on prayer and the other disciplines of the spiritual life. The room on the east side is the prayer room, with seven stations for prayer: prayers for personal and family renewal, for the congregation of Cedar Springs, for Knoxville and Knox County, for the state of Tennessee, for the United States of America and the final two stations are for Global Mission. We hope that you will find the Prayer Center a place for renewal and intercession.

Duncan Prayer Chapel

Several years ago, the Duncan family gave the church a beautiful Prayer Chapel, inspired by the Prayer Chapel in the United States Capitol. It is located just off of the Sanctuary under the steeple, and is an ideal place for one or two to draw aside and pray. It has become a treasured quiet place for those who know that it is there, and it, along with the Prayer Center, is open whenever the church buildings are open.

We hope that you will frequent these quiet and sacred places and find your prayer life enriched and rekindled.
