CSPC Congregation - families, singles, college-age, children, seniors... we may be physically separated during this time, but will you take a moment to join your voices together to praise God for His continued grace and faithfulness to us? Here's how:
1. Cue up the video below of the accompaniment to the hymn "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" on our sanctuary piano and put some headphones or earbuds on (if you have multiple people and can share earbuds, that's great, or just have one person lead your group in the singing). Make sure that the volume on the video is turned up.
2. Make sure that the lyrics can be read by everyone singing - you can view them below the video.
3. Now, using your smartphone or other device, record a video or audio of you/your household singing the melody along with the accompaniment. It doesn't need to be perfect - I will be taking all these videos and mixing them together to form an online "choir" of voices! Share your recorded video/audio with me at email@example.com.
(4 measures of piano intro)
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.
Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love. (CHORUS)
(key change into the last verse)
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! (CHORUS)
