The Cedar Springs Disaster Relief Fund is receiving donations to help people affected by the recent deadly tornadoes in Middle Tennessee. Our hearts ache for those experiencing such devastating loss, and at the same time, there is still so much hope as we see the body of Christ mobilize during times like these.
Our efforts are directed through Samaritan's Purse, a faith-based organization that is responding to the needs of those who have been affected by these tornadoes.
Samaritan's Purse has deployed Disaster Relief Units and teams to help tornado victims in Middle Tennessee, especially in the hard-hit areas of Mt. Juliet and Cookeville. Staff and volunteers are helping hurting residents in Jesus' Name by cutting up downed trees, removing debris, tarping damaged roofs, and offering other general assistance to prepare homes for repair. Billy Graham Rapid Response chaplains are serving alongside, offering spiritual counsel to all who have been traumatized, particularly families who have lost loved ones.
If you would like to make a financial contribution to assist the people affected by the tornadoes, please designate Disaster Relief with your contribution. Click here for Online Giving. If giving by check, please put "Disaster Relief" in the memo line.
If interested in joining a Tennessee Tornado Relief Team from Cedar Springs, please contact Kathryn Ann Holt at firstname.lastname@example.org or 865-291-5234 for more information.
Thanks to your financial contribution, relief work is well underway, and God's transforming love and hope is being shared in radical ways!
