“When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land . . . I am the Lord your God.” - Leviticus 19:33-34

We have fun learning English and making friends. Students and teachers have holiday parties, go on outings and picnics, and do other fun things together.
For more information contact Bob Mackey, ESL Program Coordinator, at 865-471-8503 or email@example.com.
You are also invited to attend the Cedar Springs Church International Class on Sunday mornings. They meet at 9:45 a.m. in B232. This class welcomes international and local friends in a spirit of Christian fellowship, with the understanding that many who visit for the first time have not heard the story of Jesus. Our focus is providing friendship in and out of the classroom and sharing the amazing story of Christ's love through Bible lessons presented by members of the class. For more information contact Mike Ballast (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Lindon Thomas (email@example.com).
We are in need of teachers and assistant teachers especially for the evening classes for the coming year. Making friends with and teaching English to the foreigners among us is a wonderful way to represent Christ’s love. Teaching experience is not a requirement, but the ability to make friends and help them learn to speak English is necessary. Training, materials and help will be provided to ESL teachers. If you have an interest in helping foreigners and immigrants learn English and adjust to American culture please contact Bob Mackey by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone 865-471-8503.
